ABOUT
TRANS HIMALAYAN DRIVE
I was born and brought up in Himachal and each Summer/Autumn season, I would see hordes of bikers and convoys travelling to the usual Leh – Ladakh route. (To an extent that they would cause traffic jams in the hills).
Hence, I was in a search of something which offers a unique experience much more than this usual drive. At this point came an idea of the Trans Himalayan Drive. I set out to explore the route that can be offered to our guests.
Honestly, putting together the route was just one half of the story. The route of Trans Himalayan Drive had a very few places to stay with a not-so welcoming demeanor. So, an attempt to solve this problem led to the solution which is absolutely loved by our guests – “Glamping”. With glamping, you can choose your view and we can provide the accommodation. Be it next to the rivers, meadows or enchanting forests.
To create a right balance, we decided to craft this experience in a manner that there are a few days of glamping and another few days of hotel stay. This will add that extra touch of luxury and also offer memorable and trade-mark Himachali hospitality.
Thus, by balancing these factors of pristine nature, camping, luxury, experience, culture, road routes and mountain passes; the route & journey to the “Trans Himalayan Drive” was developed.
